Richard Hardy is Project Director at Xlinks, where he oversees the company’s portfolio and flagship venture, the Morocco–UK Power Project. Prior to joining Xlinks, he held key roles at KiwiPower, starting as UK Programme Manager before becoming the Growth Strategy and Innovation Champion. Richard drove market analysis, strategic planning, and collaborated with major stakeholders including BEIS, Ofgem, and National Grid. With a master’s degree in renewable energy, Richard has dedicated his career to the global transition to clean power systems. 

For over a decade, he has been committed to advancing the global adoption of renewable energy and energy efficiency measures, leading projects across Africa, South America, and Europe.

He joined GreenYellow in 2015 during its startup phase in Brazil, where he was responsible for managing energy efficiency operations. Over nearly seven years in Brazil, he oversaw the implementation of more than 1,000 energy efficiency projects and played a key role in launching the distributed generation division.

Nicolas holds a degree in energy engineering from EPF (France, Class of 2011), is fluent in four languages, and is a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP® | AEE Center). He is widely regarded as a highly respected executive in the energy sector.

Now based in Iberia, Nicolas aims to leverage the extensive experience he gained in Brazil to develop ambitious projects in Spain and Portugal, and to position GreenYellow—together with Ardian, the Group’s new majority partner—as a leader in renewable energy and energy efficiency across the Iberian Peninsula.

Renske Ytsma holds a MSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Delft University of Technology. She joined DRI in April 2024 leading the Origination, Development and M&A activity, bringing a wealth of experience in the engineering and development of renewable energy projects. 

Renske has over 15 years of experience in renewable energy holding key positions for leading European energy companies such as Enel, E.ON and RWE, ranging from strategy, engineering and innovation to operational management and leading development of flagship wind and solar projects. 

Most recently, she was Director of Offshore Wind Development, Continental Europe at RWE, where she built up the offshore wind activity and teams in new offshore wind markets such a France, Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal and successfully secured the Dutch government tender of the Hollandse Kust West VII project combining a 760 MW offshore wind farm with innovative solutions for system integration such as H2, Batteries and offshore floating solar PV.

With over 20 years in renewable energy, Antoni Beltran is dedicated to decarbonizing the energy sector and expanding clean power access. As Senior Vice President of Renewables at Uniper SE, he spearheads solar and wind development globally. Antoni has a track record of opening new markets, forming strategic partnerships, and executing M&A transactions across Asia, EU and Latam. He leads diverse teams across project lifecycles, driving Uniper towards carbon neutrality. Passionate about mentoring, Antoni finds fulfillment in helping others discover their purpose. Vijay is a distinguished leader in the energy sector, serving as the Head of New Technology Solutions at Siemens Energy. A key player at the International Energy Agency and a Non-Executive Director at the UK's Renewable Energy Association, Vijay is recognised for his strategic vision in driving the energy transition.

Mr. Gianluca Boccanera serves as Managing Director at Starlight. He has over 7 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, spread across different areas, from the development to the financing, construction, and then technical, administrative, financial, accounting, and fiscal management of energy production assets and their respective investment vehicles set up in different countries. Since joining WiseEnergy, he has contributed to the setup and growth of the business and the corporate structure, gaining progressively external exposure and internal responsibilities. He has also been involved in the provision of asset management services to both lenders and sponsors and actively participated in lobbying activities carried out by key Italian sector associations such as Assilea. Previously, he worked in the investment banking industry for 6 years, across different financial institutions (Calyon, Mediobanca, Dresdner Kleinwort, and lastly Morgan Stanley) and countries (Italy and the UK), gaining extensive experience in the energy and infrastructure sector, having worked on several landmark M&A and capital market transactions closed both in Italy and abroad. Kevin Danton, Group Director for Procurement and Contract, joined Voltalia 7 years ago.
He worked for the past 18 years in the construction fields in different sectors such as Infrastructure, Oil&Gas and now Renewable Energies (Solar, Wind, Biomass, Hydro, Storage) .
He lived in Australia, Russia and China. He graduated from a Masters in mechanical Engineering and more recently from an Executive MBA from Kedges Business School.

Alex has spent 8 years with Microsoft in various sales and business development roles across Europe. He currently works alongside the account teams of some of Microsoft’s largest European and UK energy companies. He is primarily tasked with bringing industry knowledge and expertise to discussions, as Microsoft continues to work with their clean energy partners and customers in order to empower them to achieve more by leveraging the Microsoft cloud and AI capabilities.
He has spent 7 years with Microsoft across various sales & business development roles. In his spare time is pursues his interest and passion for small Hydro in Scotland.

Daniel Peschel is Senior PPA Originator at Ampyr Solar Europe. After studying industrial engineering in Berlin, he has been active in the renewables industry for over 10 years with roles in consulting, trading and origination. Daniel has successfully negotiated PPAs for more than 1 GW of new renewable capacity in several European jurisdictions. In his current role, he heads the PPA origination and route-to-market activities of the ASE group in Germany and the Netherlands

Kristian Gjerløv-Juel is Centrica Energy’s Vice President of Renewable Energy Trading & Optimisation; a position he has held since 2020. Kristian has more than 15 years of experience in the energy trading industry, initially entering the energy trading business at Nordjysk Elhandel/Neas Energy (now Centrica Energy), where he was a driving force in the entry and growth of Neas Energy’s renewable trading and PPA capabilities.

He later transitioned to senior-level management positions, first at Danske Commodities and subsequently Centrica Energy, reflecting his extensive leadership experience and track record in the fields of trading, origination, business development, and strategy. Kristian holds a master’s degree in economics from Aalborg University.

Nicole Neub is director of the Business Unit Battery Technology at Exyte Technology Gmbh, a leading manufacturing company with deep customer understanding in the semiconductor, bio pharma and battery industry. Before Nicole took on her current role, she worked in the sector of energy efficiency solutions and for many years as an initiative owner Battery at a market leading mechanical engineering company. Laura Hanneken is an Energy Storage Manager at Statkraft and hereby is responsible for the development of storage projects in Germany. She is experienced in BESS revenue and profitability analysis, BESS business cases, project management and business development. For hybrid projects, she collaborates closely with the wind and solar development teams at Statkraft in Germany. With her background in energy economics and forecasting, Laura initially joined Statkraft as an International Trainee in Energy Management. Formerly, she gathered experiences at TransnetBW, Daimler and the Chair for Management Science and Energy Economics at University of Duisburg-Essen. Laura Hanneken holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Duisburg-Essen.

Stefano G. Alberici has obtained his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering at Polytechnic di Torino, after his degree in Nuclear Physics, Milan University.
After his initial career in Nuclear Fusion Engineering, he has diverted his interests towards renewables in 2005, specialising himself on PV module physics and engineering, inverter technology and design, storage applications and strategic usage worldwide. He has worked in UK, Germany, US and Italy. He is currently Director of Energy Storage for HyperStrong, based in Milan, Italy.

Ruud Nijs is the CEO and co-founder of GIGA Storage. He also serves as a board member of ESNL (Energy Storage The Netherlands), demonstrating his commitment to the energy storage sector. His professional journey spans over 23 years in finance and investment, including a stint as Senior Executive Vice President for Corporate & Social Responsibility at Rabobank. Prior to that, he held the position of Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at a NASDAQ-listed artificial intelligence company. Furthermore, Ruud has been involved in several impact investing funds across Europe and Africa.

Dr. Roy Hermanns (male) is senior Scientist at the Eindhoven University of Technology. He received his PhD in 2007 at the same university in the Netherlands on laminar burning velocities of methane-hydrogen-flames. After his PhD he started at OWI in 2007 in the area of numerical combustion research. He managed different kind of activities from scientific work to industry related research in the area of liquid fuel combustion and fuel processing on a national and European level. He coordinated several EU projects among them Residue2Heat, IDEALFUEL and HELIOS. He stayed at IIT Madras (India) as a Short Term IGCS Visiting Professor. In 2019 he started as a Senior Scientist at the TU Eindhoven important building blocks of his research focus on the valorisation of the fundamental research, especially in the areas of metal energy carriers (zero emission energy carrier) and hydrogen combustion.

Joris de Hoog is an electronics engineer and obtained his PhD at VUB in 2018 where he was involved in large-scale cell testing and development of various numerical performance degradation models. After obtaining his degree, he moved to the industry, where he gained experience in both novel technologies and project management in a wide range of technical contexts. Joris has a passion for sustainability in all flavors and aims to leverage his role in the Battery Innovation Centre to help build the future of electrification of all things, not only mobility. He works both as a technical project manager and business developer, focusing on the local (Belgian) region.

Andrei is the Executive Director of the Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association, bringing extensive experience in the energy sector. With a background in Engineering and Project Management, he also has specialized training in battery systems and grid integration. His expertise encompasses Business Development as well as Regulatory and Institutional Affairs.

Björn Broda is Managing Director of GP JOULE Projects. GP JOULE Projects is part of the GP JOULE Group and develops wind and solar energy projects in Europe. He is responsible for business development/M&A, organizational development, project financing and commercial functions. Before joining GP JOULE, Björn Broda worked for juwi, a developer belonging to the MVV Group. At juwi, he was initially responsible for strategy and corporate development, which was then expanded to include the corporate communications and public affairs departments. Most recently, he was division manager for the German wind and solar unit. Before joining the project development business, Broda spent twelve years in senior strategy, M&A and controlling roles at Mainova AG, E.ON AG and E.ON Ruhrgas AG.

Annie is Director of the RE-Source Platform, an alliance of stakeholders representing clean energy buyers and suppliers. Annie leads the Platform's energy buyer engagement and advocacy activities which advance RE-Source's mission to support more corporate buyers to procure renewable energy.

With a degree in law and over 20 years of international experience in the renewable energy and energy-related projects sector, Alessandro Migliorini is a manager who combines experience and a deep understanding of the energy market and dynamics with a multidisciplinary and problem-solving approach. Furthermore, he has a deep understanding of the peculiarities of the renewables scenarios and of the local Italian territory where, for ten years, he has been in charge of the development of European Energy, a Danish operator active in various international markets. Among the various projects handled by Migliorini is the realization in 2020 of Italy's record single-connection photovoltaic park.

Tine Deheegher is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a member of the management team at Eneco Wind Belgium, the department within Eneco focused on sustainability and renewable energy solutions. With a strong background in business development, asset development and strategic management, she plays a key role in driving Eneco's initiatives toward a greener and more sustainable energy future. Tine is known for her leadership in promoting innovative energy solutions that combine multiple technologies to support industry and the grid systems and lead to the next phase of the energy transition. Her work at Eneco reflects a commitment to environmental responsibility and a forward-thinking approach to energy management. Formerly she was active within VOKA, VWEA and Boerenbond. Mrs. Deheegher holds a master degree in bio engineering from the university of Leuven.

Jeremiah is an expert with more than 16 years’ experience in the energy markets, creating  hedging solutions for clients and also providing renewable certificates.
He works with renewable energy producers and end consumers, developing tailor-made risk products that aim to optimize their energy budgets and reduce energy related risks. Since January 2019, Jeremiah is a Senior Originator for Axpo Belgium, while additionally managing some pan-EU customers.

Alicia Carrasco is a leading Spanish referent in the clean energy sector with more than two decades of experience successfully advocating for energy transition. Alicia is founder and CEO of olivoENERGY, an European Energy Strategy Consultancy which focuses on identifying business opportunities and developing proactive energy plans based on regulatory analysis and energy innovation. Co-founder and Executive Director of Entra Agregación y Flexibilidad, the Spanish Association of Agents and Companies of Electricity and Energy Services to promote demand flexibility, she is also host and founder of the Spanish Clean Energy Forum FEL2050 which annually brings together the most relevant leaders of the Spanish and European energy sector. 

Stefano N. Granata obtained his Ph.D. in the field of innovative PV modules from KU Leuven, Belgium in 2014. His career is built across the renewable energy value chain: he participated in the industrialization and commercialization of I-BC modules and BESS systems from SunPower (now Maxeon) and ABB, he managed the technical purchasing of around 2 GW of PV components for EDPR and provided expert input to PV-related policies such as the Ecodesign and NZIA for the European Commission. Currently, he is technical advisor at STS Certified, coordinating Technology, Quality, Sustainability and Supply Chain services for buyers of PV, BESS and Wind equipment. He authored several scientific papers, technical articles, patents and conference proceedings.

Yi Peng is a seasoned professional in the field of energy storage system. After obtaining his master's degree from Columbia University, he dedicated himself to research and development in the energy storage industry, accumulating vast experience ranging from back-end development to front-end delivery throughout his career. Currently, he serves as the EU solution team lead for TrinaStorage Business Unit, a vertically-integrated battery manufacturer, with over 1 GWh of delivered storage projects in the European region.

Rich is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Madison Energy Infrastructure (MEI),where he leads all aspects of capital strategy and execution. Under his leadership, MEI has developed a robust, diversified portfolio, investing over $1 billion in solar and energy storage projects. These projects span partnerships with hundreds of commercial and industrial clients, utilities, and governmental entities, enhancing energy infrastructure across key markets.
Prior to co-founding MEI, Rich held pivotal roles in investment and advisory capacities within the clean energy sector. He spearheaded investments in solar and various energy projects across numerous state markets, catering to clients ranging from the Federal Government and Fortune 100 companies to public utilities and professional sports leagues.
Rich is widely regarded as a thought leader in the energy sector and a prominent figure within the broader business community. He was selected to represent the United States in the World Energy Council’s prestigious Future Energy Leaders Programme and is an engaged participant in the Economic Club of New York (ECNY). Additionally, Rich serves on several influential boards, including the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) NYC Chapter and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
Rich earned his degree in Finance and Spanish from Samford University, where he also captained the Men’s Tennis team. Dr. Wiep Folkerts, Market and Program Senior at TNO Solar Energy, holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Groningen. He has been active in Solar Energy since 2010 in various roles. Wiep was director of the Solar Energy Application Centre (SEAC) from 2012-2018.

Based in Brussels, Pia Alina Lange is Director of EU Public Affairs and Policy at integrated solar solutions provider Trina Solar. Prior to that she headed the governmental affairs and communications departments at European industry associations EUROPEAN ALUMINIUM and RECHARGE BATTERIES. 
Pia Alina Lange started her career in the solar industry at US solar panel manufacturer FIRST SOLAR and European waste collection and management organization PV CYCLE.  An Austrian national, Pia Alina Lange holds a master’s degree in economics and has been working on a variety of energy, circular economy, trade and industrial policies over the past seventeen years. Her opinion pieces have been published in a series of trade and scientific papers, including PV Tech, Recycling & Waste World, Communication Director, Renewable Energy Focus and Innovation News Network. Eden Liu, graduated from the University of Southampton with MSc Sustainable Energy Technologies. He is currently working at SMM UK as an associate analyst for lithium-ion batteries and energy storage systems.

Pär-Olof Johannesson, Chairman, CEO & Co-Founder Solar Power Accelerator AB 
Seasoned tech executive and serial entrepreneur with sector expertise in power energy, telecom and automotive industry. Leading Terranet's successful IPO listing at Nasdaq in 2017, a company that developed a world standard on mesh connectivity deployed ubiquitously worldwide across all smartphones platforms, is rated as one of his absolute top business achievements in addition to co-founding Solar Power Accelerator, an IPP and PPA provider of C&I based rooftop power from sun radiation and energy storage. 

He started his career with a short stint as diplomat at the Swedish Foreign Service mid 90-ties and has since held

Prof. Dr. Oladokun is a scientist and Professor at the Alfred Wegener Institute. He is researching marine aquaculture, shelf sea systems, and ecology to build a sustainable future. He is a Adjunct Professor at Multimedia University. He is the Director of SeaNexus. Prior he was a guest Professor at RWTH Aachen University. He has researched aquaculture and sea farming technology, offshore and near coastal aquaculture engineering systems, seaweed farming technology, marine hybrid alternative energy systems, greenhouse gas emission inventory from the marine system and climate change control technology, seaweed base marine biofuel, seaweed marine biotech applications including material, food, health, animal feed, soil remediation, bioremediation, climate change, and resilient technology systems. He started his career as an engineering officer on a ship. He has taught and mentored marine courses and research projects on contemporary maritime and ocean engineering issues and has authored and co-authored over 180 publications and 12 books. He has filed a patent on research work related to seaweed aquaculture technology. Prof. Dr. Oladokun is also an editorial board member, reviewer, and on the scientific committee of several international journals. He has served in several working groups, technical committees, conferences, and UN rulemaking for inland water transportation, sustainable energy, disaster risk reduction, and water conventions. He has collaborated with diverse international scholars on key research topics. He is a chartered engineer registered under the UK Engineering Council and is a member of several professional associations.

He holds two master’s degrees in environmental policy and international law from SciencesPo Paris and Peking University.

Paul Minjauw is the Managing Director of Eneco Solar. He holds a Master degree in Business Economics and an MBA. Paul has a vast experience of > 30 years in several industries and roles. Before entering the renewables space in 2007, Paul worked for companies such as GE and Deloitte gaining experience in sales, finance, project management and this across different countries. For the last 17 years he has been working in the renewables industry concentrating on solar and storage, setting up branches and developing solar portfolios in countries such as Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, the USA and Canada. Since 2011 Paul has been successfully building the Eneco solar business in the Netherlands, Belgium, UK, France and Germany to the current portfolio of almost 400 MWp. This includes industrial rooftop solar, large scale ground mounted solar and behind the meter battery storage.  

Tsvetelina Kuzmanova is a Senior Project Manager at CISL Europe – Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, where she works on sustainable finance policies. Tsvetelina engages with EU institutions and stakeholders to achieve policy reforms for increased public and private sector investments for a climate-neutral and nature-positive economy. Her work helps divert capital flows towards assets that contribute to sustainable development. Tsvetelina is also a Member of the Insurance Advisory Panel at the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).

Prior to joining CISL, Tsvetelina spent seven years working on EU legislation in sustainable finance and financial innovation at different government and civil society organisations. She has also worked on international development projects in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, specialising in renewable energy and infrastructure. Tsvetelina holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University, South Korea.
